Yes. The full editor runs without an account, right in your browser. You only need one when you want to save, export, share or remove a background.

On the Free plan you build carousels with up to five slides and can view and try out every template. For export you get all looks, 17 templates and one brand color, as JPG at 1080 px wide with no watermark. PNG, double resolution and video export come with Pro. All other templates and the second and third brand color come with Pro. On the Free plan you remove the background of a photo five times a month, with Pro as often as you like.

There are small AI helpers in the editor, for example caption suggestions, and Posty also answers questions with AI. Both run through providers that charge for every call. That is why the AI comes with Pro or Studio only and is off on the Free plan. Every call costs credits, one for a caption or an AI answer from Posty, and an account starts with 50. The balance shows in the editor, and once the credits are used up the AI is locked. Everything else keeps working, including Remove background. That runs in your browser, costs no credits and is open to every plan.

You click a photo and choose “Cut out”. You need an account for this. The editor cuts the subject out using your device’s graphics unit, so your photo never leaves your browser. The very first time, your browser downloads about 140 MB once, after that a cut takes a few seconds. On the Free plan you can do this five times a month, with Pro, Studio and Enterprise as often as you like. You need a current browser with WebGPU and a reasonably current graphics chip. The editor checks whether your device can do it when it opens: if not, the function does not exist there and neither does the button. If a cut takes too long, the editor stops after a minute and your photo stays as it was.

From Pro your calendar gets an address of its own. Anyone who has it subscribes to your plan in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook and sees every change automatically. They do not need a postd account for that. On the Free plan your calendar stays with you. If someone should add entries themselves, you need Studio: there your whole team works in the calendars of every brand, and every invited person needs at least a Pro of their own.

Not yet. You plan your posts in the editorial calendar and upload them yourself at the scheduled time. Direct publishing is built and waiting on Meta's approval for posting from a third-party app. Until that arrives we do not promise it: you can see feed preview, insights and publishing in the editor, but they are locked. If you connect an Instagram account later, you can disconnect it again at any time in your account.

Studio is the plan for teams and agencies. You get five brands, each with its own team: you invite up to five people into each. Everyone works on the same carousels, boards and calendars of their brand. Plus six calendars per brand for the whole team. Studio costs EUR 19.99 a month or EUR 199 a year, and the yearly price saves you EUR 40.88. Seven days free to try it.

Yes, at least Pro. Studio gives you the right to invite people into each of your brands. Everyone invited needs their own access, and Pro is enough for that. They do not need Studio themselves. Anyone who should only look at your board needs nothing at all: share links are free and take no seat. For the calendar that starts with Pro, and the subscribe link then works in Apple, Google or Outlook.

A brand is your box for one label or one client: colors, type, logo, projects and calendars in one place. Free and Pro have one brand, Studio has five, each with its own team and its own roles (Owner, Lead, Editor). Enterprise bundles as many brands as you need into groups. Anyone who only needs to look gets a share link and needs no account.
