How to keep blank lines in an Instagram caption
- Paste your caption into the first box.
- Choose Keep blank lines. Every empty line gets an invisible character, so Instagram treats it as a line with content.

- Check the preview in Instagram before you publish, because the app can change how it handles line breaks.
The four modes

- Blank line between lines: every line is separated from the next by a protected blank line, for airy captions.
- Remove blank lines: empty lines and extra line breaks are removed, one line break stays between lines.
- One paragraph: all lines are joined into a single paragraph.
About the invisible character
The tool offers two characters that render as nothing: the Braille blank and the Hangul filler. Both count as a character in the length of your caption, so a caption with many blank lines uses a little of its limit. If one character does not work in your app or font, try the other.
